Brock Carmichael Architects takes great pride in the four pillars of its business, and the partners who represent it.
Our expertise comes from decades of experience in education, residential, leisure and regeneration. It is in this experience where you’ll find a passion for architecture that has driven our practice for over 40 years.
Each of our partners has brought all of this and much more to Brock Carmichael Architects, and you can read more about each of them here.
As partner and director of Brock Carmichael Asia, Michael represents part of the global face of the practice, leading projects across China and Hong Kong, alongside those much closer to home.
An RIBA, RTPI and Urban Design Group member, he has been a practising architect and planner for over 30 years, specialising in brownfield regeneration, large-scale dockland and inner city housing, as well as the conservation and conversion of listed buildings for residential use.
With almost 40 years leading Brock Carmichael, John has been central to driving the success of the practice to help it become one of the most established names in British architecture.
In addition to operating nationally and winning over twenty design awards, this has meant playing a key role in all fields of the business. From designing and developing commercial, residential, educational and other buildings to championing conservation, John has seen the industry change considerably – and has helped guide Brock Carmichael to reflect this.
Leading on design, while also acting as finance director, managing partner and director of Brock Carmichael Asia, Chris brings over 10 years experience as a RIBA chartered architect to our practice.
Having been part of a range of high profile projects like the award winning £120m redevelopment of HM Treasury and the £1bn redevelopment of South China’s Wuli District, Chris is an expert on office and residential design, with a keen interest in individual housing projects.
