The Octagon Partnership brings together an international network of experts from across the globe, to deliver architectural excellence through sustainable design and planning.
Bringing together Brock Carmichael and The Oval Partnership, the project comprises a multi-disciplinary approach by using highly skilled and experienced architects, planners and designers. With offices in Hong Kong, Beijing, London and Liverpool, it’s a presence across Europe and Asia that champions innovation and new ways of working from the initial briefing phase to completion.
Established as a 50/50 joint venture company in 2012, The Octagon Partnership combines 62 years of architectural and design experience, and has delivered a wide portfolio of buildings since its inception. These include projects that vary in size and complexity, and include newly built, converted and adapted properties.
Whether new or based on older (even listed) buildings, the fundamentals of our work remain the same – to ensure the most innovative and relevant design disciplines are used to address any and all issues surrounding a project – such as their environmental, social and economic impact, as well as how they will perform as longer-term, functional spaces.
The Octagon Partnership believes this focus on principles of inclusion, sustainability and innovation are essential to the future of architecture and are central to the delivery of excellence in key disciplines such as:
- Urban planning and urban design
- Architecture and interior design
- Landscape design
- Street furniture and signage design
Our team is equipped to deliver on all of this, recruited both in Hong Kong and internationally, with experience throughout the Asia Pacific Region, United Kingdom and Europe, and a an excellent understanding of their respective cultural and economic environments, as well as language skills that enable them to operate in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
