Jonathan Farrell and Farah Anwar won two awards at the G4C North West 2021 Awards last night!

Delighted to announce Jonathan Farrell (Architect) and Farah Anwar (Part I Architectural Assistant) won two awards at the G4C North West 2021 Awards last night.

Jon won Mentor of the Year category and Farah won the Student of the Year category.

Jon was praised for fostering creativity in the younger members of the Brock Carmichael team. Jon is part of the RIBA mentoring scheme. He is a mentor for a small group of students from Liverpool John Moores University. The students learn about everything from the business side of a practice, through to questions on detailing, design briefs, CV’s and various other topics. The experience is excellent preparation for the first period of practical placement, on which the students are about to embark.

Farah was praised on her positive attitude and integration to not just the office, but the wider NW Architecture industry, getting involved with internal groups like the wellbeing group and external groups with RIBA. She was also praised on her fantastic animation and sketch skills, her animations and sketches have featured on the RIBA Future Architects social media streams.
