4-Star Hotel for the Baltic Triangle

A four-star hotel is underway on Norfolk Street in Liverpool’s Baltic Triangle district. The £20 million development will occupy the now-derelict site of what was formerly the Liver Grease Oil and Chemicals building. The 202-bedroom hotel will feature a gym and parking, as well as a top-floor restaurant and bar that will command views across the city and river. Around 150 staff spanning 50 different trades will be employed on the site during the build, both from Crossfield Construction and local suppliers.

The design of the new hotel development will really complement the vibrant Baltic Triangle district. Historically the buildings in this area are of an industrial and warehouse nature from which our design proposal has taken a lead. The brick and metal design provides a visual link to the location’s heritage whilst providing the style and function of a four-star hotel.

Brock Carmichael has designed the scheme and supported Crossfield Exclusive Developments in securing planning consent. Crossfield Construction has started work on the project and completion is expected in 2022.
