The Conway Centre

A delicate building providing fantastic new opportunities for learning experiences.

The Conway Centre provides short-term residential courses for children and young adults, set in idyllic surroundings in the extensive grounds of Plas Newydd in Anglesey.

The largest of its kind in the UK and located on a sloping site in a woodland area, the design of the building and choice of materials provide the Centre with a contemporary structure that is sensitive to its woodland surroundings. The project provides 32 bed spaces with en-suite facilities as group social spaces and dining facilities. More information here.

Due to demand for this much needed facility, Brock Carmichael recently undertook a second commission to provide a second building focused on facilities for young people with access needs. More information here.
