Sanctuary Housing

Brock Carmichael worked with Sanctuary Housing, Cheshire West and Chester Council’s Development Delivery Partner, to deliver 57 units across six sites in Ellesmere Port and Neston.

The homes are part of a wider CWAC initiative to provide 230 affordable and 20 shared ownership homes across the Council’s Authority area for social rent, funded via a £7.5m successful bid to the Government’s Housing Revenue Account borrowing programme.

The projects provide the much needed re-use of existing mostly redundant former garage sites. Brock Carmichael assisted Sanctuary in the competitive bid to secure the development project and is providing the proposed development strategy, vision for the sites and delivery in a local working partnership with the Local Authority.

Using an efficient standardised technical approach, each site responds spatially and visually to the needs of each local context and community need.
