Mark Cookson

Architect

Mark joined Brock Carmichael in April 2022, after studying at the University of Liverpool for both his undergraduate and Masters. In 2019, while still studying for his Masters, he won the LAS RIBA Student Award for his work on an unrban farming project.

Passionate about conservation and historic building methods, Mark has worked on several schemes around the North West, including the Grade II* listed Scandinavian church in Liverpool, Grade II listed Ravenswood House in Rock Ferry and the Grade II listed Woolton Library. He has also worked extensively in Residential, Education, Commercial, and Industrial sectors.

Outside of work, Mark is interested in film, TV and writing, which has influenced a lot of his work within architecture.
